There is a person living at Voorburgstraat 124, whose existence resembles that of a still life. Meanwhile, supermarket flyers filled with photos of fresh meat are delivered to the woman’s address with her name on them. This serves as proof of someone's existence in the apartment. The photos of dead meat in the flyer, looking more vivid than life, make time continue to flow for the still life-like woman. A total of 507 meat photos collected from supermarket flyers over the course of a year are updated on the website thisisameatjournal.com, like a kind of survival diary.

A Meat Journal and Still Life (Video, 2011) are autobiographical works created in the same period, reflecting the theme of ’lethargy.' The website thisisameatjournal.com went offline in 2021 after being maintained for a decade.
