Feedback Lab, a group of three artists, was formed in 2023 to research sound and performance art. The group has shared thoughts on topics of common interest drawn from their respective works. The ideas derived from the collaborative research are either reflected in each artist's work or shared with the general public by hosting what they call "sessions." A session is an event with a more laid-back atmosphere than the existing artist talks. It involves sharing food and is conducted in an attitude as if you are telling an interesting story to a friend. After holding two sessions each in 2023 and 2024, Feedback Lab is currently working on a project on artistic writing and publishing.

Feedback Lab received research funding from the K'ARTS Performance & Exhibition Center in 2023.




"(…)Performance is an event. In an event, regardless of its tense, the time of the real world is given. The fact that time is specified in performance makes one think that perhaps it is possible to grasp the performance, which is something intangible. Events and we exist together in linear time. Within the flow of endless time, we can either traverse time or leap forward in imagination. With the will to intervene, one can become a witness to an event. Isn't it enough to believe that somewhere something clearly happened and that it changed a corner of life? In that sense, perhaps performance is something that can never end, only losing its real-time nature."
